Born out of an idea..
Saddleworth Spirit Merchants began in order to provide a range of quality spirits that reflect the unique and diverse nature of Saddleworth. Rose County Gin is the inaugural spirit launched in 2021.
A well balanced and refreshing gin, Rose County Gin takes its botanicals from the moorland flora which envelope Saddleworth. Heather, Rose and Juniper are the floral top notes in Rose County Gin, while citrus and cardamom work synergistically to give a warming and refreshing finish. It truly is an all rounder and can hold its own with a simple splash of tonic or in a cocktail.
The name Rose County is our homage to the unique and on-going rumblings of this contested area, between the white of Yorkshire and the red rose of Lancashire. As for our allegiances, well let’s just say we have gone for pink!
